Doesn’t even work
Worthless
I was under the assumption this app would provide measurements for the object I photographed. It doesn't! Pointless!!!
Why do you call these measuring tools when all you can do is take a picture and then you have to measure it yourself and write it on the app. That is not called MEASURING! That is called storing pictures that you can type numbers and measurements into!
Even though the app is very good, the upgrade is not worth $6.99
Tool allows you to easily add graphic measurements to your photos. You will still need to take the measurements and then add. Gave 4 stars because it is perhaps the easiest tool I've found to add line measurements but the 5 star comes when it is capable of doing the geometry measurements as well.
Does not measure!
This program allows you to save your measurements, but will not measure it for you as I needed. Good for realestate agents who may need to know measurements if asked those questions or a person who will measure to purchase something and has the time.
It's difficult to come up with simple solutions - precisely summarizes the brains who did this tool. I recently bought a new house and ran into issues a few times the measurements and dimensions of windows and room sizes. I downloaded this app and was able to provide exact dimensions to my designer instead of explaining over phone n creating a mess. This is a high utility item and pretty much what they offer for free suits all my needs! Thanks for this tool!
Enuf said. If the watermark were reasonable, I'd give it more stars, but the watermark is over the entire photo in dark black.
I am re modeling our home and this app has been an importing tool to document measurement for my projects.
Don't know what other people bare talking about, this is not misleading at all. This is simple a try before you buy app.
This thing is a misnomer. You can't actually measure anything. It just lets you annotate a photo with a leader or angle marker. You have to determine what that measure is yourself with a tape measure or some other app. It's OK as a photo annotation tool, but that's all it does!
The "Lite" version is basically useless because the images you export are unreadable. They're covered with the text, "LITE VERSION OF PHOTO MEASURES" to the point where you can't even see the dimensions you placed on the photo. This app is just a hook for the full version.
its very simple and easy to use thank u :)
Good app
With lite edition, measuring feature is good bit it leaves "Lite edition of photo measure" imprint all over the image, it's useless, you can't send the edited image to a client.
Take a picture ( home + sleep buttons ) and save it! Cut the bottom and export wherever u want ! Use as many times u want.
I actually have been using this app for quite some times now (over a year I think). Very easy n simple to use. Just like the other users said, need Dropbox support. And it would be nice if it was a little cheaper for the full version. $4.99 is a little deep. As an amateur "measurer", 99 cents is probably the most that I will pay . But don't get me wrong. It's well worth $4.99 for professionals. The missing star is for the "part time measurer." =)
Easy and convenient. Housewife and engineer don't stop use.
Used the lite version to test out the features and it was nice and smooth. Upgraded to the full version since its been useful.
Really like the product - will upgrade to the full version
Works great Need better tutorial in the free version Then I would understand it enough to upgrade
Just snap an iPhone pic of the measurements. until the app is tweaked and retina is supported I'll save my 5 dollars.
That being said, I do have a couple of suggestions. 1. Remember the color for each tool type, text, angle and arrows. I want black on text but yellow on arrows - for example. I don't want to keep having to switch colors each time I switch tools. 2.remember font sizes for each tool. Same deal. 3. Export names using picture "catagory-picture_title.jpg" 4. Higher rez photos. 1k is nice but why not full Rez? I've got $4.99 for you when ever you are ready. I'll cast "my measures" into the virtual trash bin. Your draw tool is slicker.
Draws lines and numbers over photos, denoting measurements, then exports to Camera Roll with an ugly dealbreaker watermark. Instead, use a general-purpose drawing program, like DrawCast, or just a text note like H 34" W 48"
This app crashed shortly after I made any notations (multiple times), but even in the short time in which it worked, it did not seem very useful.
I imported a kitchen image from a job I did once before, and used the image as a test for this product. I was able to layout the entire kitchen cabinets ( uppers and lowers ), the dishwasher, fridge, and lighting in under 30 minutes. I emailed it to myself as a test and it arrived within seconds. This program ( LITE VERSION ) will put a watermark across your images until you purchase the Full version. SO WHAT !!. This program is definitely on my must have list. Very easy to use, very clear measurements, top quality emailed picture returned, interface is so easy to use. As a Licensed General Contractor, my clients are going to really love seeing instant answers and results with this program.
It is really nice but the full image "watermark" makes it veritably unusable. Not a real good marketing strategy to establish good will, unless I am missing how one is able to delete the watermark.
